Syria’s UN Envoy Accuses Israel of Destabilization Efforts Amid Regional Tensions
The Syrian envoy stated that while Syria’s recent efforts toward restoring security have received broad international acknowledgment, he claimed these efforts are being undermined by Israeli military actions in southern Syria.

He described recent months as a period of significant regional risk but emphasized the importance of continued diplomatic coordination to avoid further conflict.
On internal Lebanese affairs, he referenced recent governmental positions regarding armed groups operating outside state authority, framing them within broader discussions about state control over military activity.
The remarks were delivered during a formal UN Security Council session focused on Middle East developments, where member states presented differing views on security, sovereignty, and regional stability.
